Inspired by the natural whisker, a biomimetic mechatronic system with an artificial whisker sensor is developed to simulate rats’ whisking motion and to distinguish different textures.

Automated Guided Car

Designed and controlled an automated guided car to navigate along desired trajectory.

Motion Planning & Simulation
for Mobile Robot

In this project, I learned about the kinetic properties of KUKA youBot, a 5-DOF serial manipulation arm with omnidirectional mobile platform. Based on its workspace and the desired motion of the end effector, I applied PI velocity control, generated reference trajectory and conducted simulation on V-REP, an virtual experimentation platform for robots.

DC Motor Control

Built an intelligent motor driver which can accept a desired motor trajectory, execute that trajectory, and send the results back for error analysis. Including position control and velocity control.

As a master student specialized in Robotics and Mechatronics, I am always interested in combining machines with artificial intelligence, so that they can provide better service, either in industy to promote manufacturing or in daily life to improve people's living quality.

Besides functionality, I hope to design products that can be ergonomic and esthetic. I try to focus on the details that can improve user experience and thus increase products' market competitiveness. It's always delightful to gain people's satisifaction on my design.
